      Hi 678prmb43 good question!

Being in a hospital means you have a large support network of staff, including clinicians and a variety of professionals. There is also a very good communication network used through a technology system which gives quick access to support or professional / clinical support.

It is important to remember the individual found in a hospital setting is often acutely unwell, which can be a very distressing time for an individual and family.
The hospital also provides equipment and supplies which can be easily accessed and taken for granted when you consider the community and difference in ordering, supplying and storing.
